Web Developer

Blair is seeking a web developer to work on-site in our Lynchburg, VA office. This position includes creating and maintaining websites using a variety of tools including (but not limited to) Mac & PC platforms, PHP, MySQL, WordPress, YouTube, Flash, Photoshop and DreamWeaver. Two to three years experience in a related field is required. Strong organizational skills, a definite creative streak, a precision use of on-screen GUI, and good work ethic a must. Portfolio samples should demonstrate excellence and creativity in the latest web development arena, including (but not limited to) browser technologies including HTML/CSS, social media apps & APIs, ecommerce & payment systems, content management systems, and online video and interactive technologies.

Your resume or link to your blog should include links to live websites that you either completed on your own or played a major role in it's development. To that end, please tell us the scope of work you accomplished with your samples.

Graphic Designer

Blair is seeking a graphic designer to work on-site in our Lynchburg, VA office. This position includes designing for print and websites using a variety of tools including (but not limited to) CS4 apps, Microsoft Office apps, and other Mac and PC creative apps. Two to three years experience in a related field is required. Strong English proofing skills, organizational skills, and good work ethic a must. Portfolio samples should demonstrate excellence in all things design including (but not limited to) print advertising, branding, corporate ID, displays, magazines and sales brochures.

To be considered for this position, your talent as a visual communicator and designer should be evident from your cover letter and samples.
